Budget Suggestions: A Fresh Look with New Features

The heavily redesigned Budget Suggestions is a star of this release. Besides a brand new look, this page has a lot of new features that help you handle your PPC budget smarter, better, and faster:

  • Suggestions tab: suggested budget decreases and increases (including detailed info)

  • Automated budget submissions: accept as it is or modify and then accept (Amazon Ads only)

  • Budget comparison chart improvements

  • Budget suggestions log

  • Quick alerts for budget increases

  • Spam-free suggestions

  • Temporary queue

Suggestions Tab

The budget Suggestions tab is where the magic happens.

Here’s what you can see:

  • All budget suggestions: decreases and increases

  • Accept suggestions as they are OR modify them and then accept

  • All values shown in corresponding currencies

  • 5 metrics to support you in making informed decisions

  • Budget comparison chart to help you visualize the data

Now, there is extra information to give you more context: the account the campaign belongs to, Performance Group, and its goal.

Currency Display for Informed Decisions

You can see all monetary values in your Adspert account currency. If your advertising account currency differs, values will be displayed in both currencies for clarity.

This helps you make informed decisions, as budget submissions and edits are processed in your account currency.

6 Supporting Metrics

Besides standard metrics like Estimated optimal spending, Average cost for the last 7 days, Average coverage for the last 7 days, and Budget usage, we’ve also added two customizable metrics so you can select any metrics you need.

All metrics show data from the last 30 days (this is fixed and cannot be changed).

NEW Budget Comparison Chart

This new chart helps you analyze budget suggestions even faster to make quick, informed decisions about your ad spend.

Click it to expand it and see the full budget comparison chart with suggested and current budget. In the upper left corner it highlights both relative and absolute changes.

The chart shows your current and suggested budgets side by side, clearly showing percentage changes for quick insights.

Above the chart there are three fixed metrics: Coverage, Cost, and Budget. You can also add two more metrics of your choice!

All metrics show data from the last 30 days (this is fixed and cannot be changed).

Automated Budget Submissions (Amazon Ads Only)

Amazon advertisers, this one's for you; now you can submit budget suggestions directly in Adspert! You can submit the suggestions as they are or modify them and then submit them.

Before:

Previously, managing your budget adjustments was a multi-step process:

  1. You saw budget suggestions in Adspert

  2. Then you had to log in to your Amazon Ads account

  3. … and find the campaign in question

  4. … and finally adjust the budget

After:

Now, it's much simpler:

  1. See a budget suggestion in Adspert

  2. Click ‘Accept’ or first modify it and then accept it—that’s it!

This helps you save time and reduce errors, making your advertising spend more efficient.

For now, this feature is available only for Amazon Ads users. For users of other platforms, we added direct links to the respective log-in pages.

We're excited about this initial release and look forward to expanding support to other platforms.

Budget Suggestions Log: Complete Transparency

You always have full and transparent insight into your ad account activities. And Budget Suggestions are not an exception.

The Budget Suggestions Log provides a comprehensive record of all changes (budget decreases and increases), including successful updates and failed attempts.

It helps you track your budget management activities over time, offering insights into trends and potential issues.

From here you can track every detail:

  • Submissions of budget changes (accepted as they are or modified and then accepted)

  • Failed submissions of budget changes

  • Budget suggestions rejected by users

Quick Alerts for Budget Increases

Never miss an opportunity—the banner at the top of the page lists budget increase suggestions you should review as soon as possible.

Click “Show campaigns” and then check the “Suggestions” tab. From there quickly review, accept, modify, or reject budget suggestions for increases only.

Spam-Free Suggestions

Worried you’ll get spammed with budget suggestions? We have you covered. We update and review them every day, just like criteria suggestions.

So a budget suggestion you see today might not be there tomorrow!

To further prevent spamming, once you approve, modify or reject a suggestion, you won’t get another budget suggestion for that campaign for 7 days.

Temporary Queue

The Queue tab temporarily holds accepted budget submissions before they're sent to your advertising platform.

Changed your mind? You can modify or reject submissions here. This reverts the suggestion to its original form and moves it back to the Suggestions tab.

And this wraps up everything that’s new with Budget Suggestions. This is just the first version, and we're already planning further enhancements.

Chart Upgrades 2/2

In our previous release, we introduced upgrades to the Monitor, Key Figures, Products and Product charts.

Now, we’re completing the chart upgrades with the remaining ones: Goals and Scenarios.

Let’s take a closer look at each chart to see what's new.

Goals: Performance Chart

The Performance chart has been updated to align with the new, polished look of our previously released charts.

Overall it is sleeker, while preserving all the original functionalities.

Here are some enhancements specific to Goals:

  • Context: The context can now be modified or completely removed. The settings are also carried over from one chart to another within a user session.

  • Goals: Current, second and historic goals are fixed and cannot be removed.

Next, let's explore the Scenarios chart, which has received more significant updates.

Updated Scenarios Chart

We've given the Scenarios chart a general facelift to align with the visual style of our other charts. We have also improved its usability by using new colors and adjusting goal-related functionalities.

New Color Coding

Colors have been updated to clearly distinguish between different elements:

  • Current goal:

    • Dark purple – within the Scenarios range > Your goal value is OK

    • Red – outside of the Scenarios range > You should adjust your goal value

  • New goal: Pink

  • Context: Yellow

Updated functionalities of Scenarios chart

Current goal:

  • Current goal value is now visible both above and below the chart.

  • You cannot alter or remove the current goal value.

New goal:

  • Click the dropdown to select a new goal …

  • … or simply click one of the goal tiles below the chart.

Criterion Hub Updates

We’ve updated the Criterion Hub with a few small but important changes that improve the navigation and usability.

Ad Group Similarity (Sponsored Products Auto Ad Groups Only)

Ad Group Similarity applies only to Amazon Ads Sponsored Products Auto ad groups. It measures how similar your Sponsored Products Auto ad groups are to your Manual ad groups.

This helps you quickly assess if you’ve picked an appropriate destination ad group.

Practical example: Ad Group Similarity allows you to easily spot if you've mistakenly added "sneakers" related keywords to a "phone case" ad group instead to a "shoes" ad group.

The similarity is expressed as a percentage, represented by checkmarks, and color-coded so you can immediately see if you’ve picked a suitable destination ad group:

  • 95–100%: Great similarity – 3 checkmarks, green

  • 90–95%: OK similarity – 2 checkmarks, green

  • 90% and less: Not recommended but permissible – 1 checkmark, yellow

Note: Although values below 90% are not recommended, you can still proceed if it aligns with your specific advertising strategies.

You can see Ad Group Similarity across Criterion Hub sections that involve Sponsored Products Auto ad groups:

  • Rules

  • Suggestions Review

  • Product Ads Sync

But it doesn’t stop there!

Improved Sorting

To simplify your workflow, we’ve updated the default sorting of existing Sponsored Products Auto ad groups when editing the destination.

Now, they are sorted by Ad Group Similarity from highest to lowest!

So: ad groups with best similarities (95–100%) are displayed at the top of the list.

Use Ad Group Similarity As a Filter

And lastly, we’ve added the Ad Group Similarity as a filter option. When you're editing the destinations of a rule or a suggestion on an ad group level, you can now narrow your search results based on the similarity.

Rules: Numbering System

We’ve heard from our Enterprise users that the rule names weren’t always clear. So we’ve added a numbering system to make it easier to refer to rules.

Every rule now has its own number:

  • Before: Amazon Ads > Sponsored Products Auto > Add keyword

  • After: Amazon Ads > Sponsored Products Auto > 1.1.1 Add keyword

This makes referring to specific rules much easier, especially when you have many campaigns and ad groups with multiple rules.

Where can I see rule numbers?

  • Suggestions Review

  • Rules table (Enterprise plan only)

  • Rule editor (Enterprise plan only)

Campaign Creation Cue: Magic Wand (Sponsored Products Auto Only)

One of the Criterion Hub features is to automatically create Sponsored Products Manual campaigns under certain conditions.

You told us that you wanted it to be clearer when Adspert is set to create these campaigns. In response, we've introduced the "magic wand" icon.

The icon appears whenever the destination is any of the “Create” options. You can see it in the tables and editing flows, indicating that a campaign will be created.

Plus, if you hover over the magic wand icon, a tooltip will pop up with a brief explanation. It also includes a link to a Help Center article that explains the process of creating Manual campaigns and ad groups in detail.

Conclusion

As always, we have many more updates planned for the future.

If you have any ideas or feedback, please share them with us through the Product Plan. Your input is invaluable to us.

And if you ever need help, don't hesitate to reach out via chat. We're here to assist you anytime.
