Criterion Hub: Secret Weapon for Refined Automation

One of the things that we’ve heard from PPC advertisers is that they wanted to have more control over exactly how keywords, ASINs, other criteria, or biddable objects are added to their campaigns. And that’s exactly what Criterion Hub features do – and much more!

The beauty of it is that it works with your existing campaign structure. You don’t need to change anything. Adspert adjusts to your needs, not the other way around.

3 advanced features to fine-tune your campaigns help you:

  • Automate how Adspert adds your keywords, ASINs, and other criteria* and save time.

  • Review criteria suggestions with ease.

  • Keep your Auto and Manual campaigns in a perfect sync. (Amazon Ads only)

  • Create custom rules at all levels: platform, account, campaign, ad group. (Enterprise plan)

  • Get precise control over all criteria in your campaigns. (Enterprise plan)

* Criteria is an umbrella term for everything that can be bid on: keywords, products, categories, and so on.

Ready for a closer look at Criterion Hub?

It consists of three main features, each located on its own page:

  1. Rules,

  2. Suggestions Review,

  3. and Products Ads Sync (only for Amazon Ads).

Rules

Rules feature has two modes:

  • Simplified Mode - available for all users

  • Advanced Mode - Enterprise Plan only

Rules Simplified Mode

Recommendation: Watch the video in full-screen mode.

Rules Simplified Mode is the default mode that is available for all users. Essentially, you need to select an account and choose the rule action for it.

Locate the account that you would like to set up the rule action for. Second, choose the rule action you want to apply to the selected account: Review, Add or Ignore. And that’s it!

What do the actions mean?

  • Review:
Once Adspert has identified criteria to add to your advertising accounts, it lists them on the Suggestions Review page, so you can review them and decide which to add, and which not.

  • Add:
Have Adspert automatically add all qualified criteria directly to the platform.

  • Ignore:
Adspert will not suggest any criteria for the selected advertising account.

Rules Advanced Mode (Enterprise plan only)

With Rules Advanced Mode you can dive much, much deeper. Forget about having to build the entire campaign structure in advance.

Instead, create custom rules and define exactly how Adspert adds keywords, ASINs and other criteria to your campaigns. This high-level automation lets you automatically AND gradually grow your campaign structure.

In the Advanced Mode, you can customize and nitpick rules at all levels:

  • platform,

  • account,

  • campaign,

  • and ad group.

When you click on any of the rows, the entire anatomy of the rule opens up. The table contains full information about the Rule, where it is defined, applied filters, applied action, the destination of the rule, whether it is affected by the Product Ads Sync Mode or not and the Manage column from where you can add or edit the rule.

On these tables, you can:

  • View the rules in action for a specific entity,

  • Create custom rules on all different levels with filters and without,

  • And revert to the default or delete rule.

So: the Rules Advanced Mode gives you greater control over where criteria are added and how.

Suggestions Review

Recommendation: Watch the video in full-screen mode.

You don’t have to white-knuckle your own way to discover new keywords and other criteria over and over again. That’s what Adspert’s powerful automation is for!

One of the things that we’ve heard from our users is that they wanted to have more information and options available when they review the suggestions and conflicts. And that’s exactly what you can see on the Suggestions Review page.

So, after Adspert diligently harvests, refines and qualifies suitable criteria, it serves them to you on this page. If at least one of the actions for your platform is set to Review, this is where the Suggestions Review page comes in.

Besides suggestions, you can also review different conflicts that you should resolve. Any kind of conflicts cannot be independently altered by our automation, and that’s intentional. We want you to maintain control and show you the issues, so you can address them.

Suggestions Review page has 2 tabs, Suggestions and Queue.

Suggestions Tab

The Suggestions tab displays a collection of tables. Each table represents a source ad group. It starts with the title that reflects the entire source ad group’s hierarchy. The title starts with the platform, advertising account, followed by campaign and ad group name.

Here’s where you can approve or reject each individual suggestion. But the Suggestions Review feature goes way beyond simple acceptance or rejection.

You can also set destinations for criteria suggestions. For keywords, you can also set the Match Type and for others, you can set a type.

Additional Option for Enterprise Plan: Save Suggestion as a Rule

Save as Rule option is a shortcut to quickly add a custom rule. You don’t need to go to the Rules page and go through the entire rule creation process. Instead, say goodbye to repetitive actions: click Save as Rule and that’s it!

Queue Tab

We have listened to our users who said they would like to have a place in Adspert that displays criteria after they've been accepted or rejected but before they appear in the Log.

That's precisely what the Queue is for – it's where criteria wait to be submitted. We didn’t limit it to just a list; you can also take different actions on the Queue tab. You can still edit destinations or undo your decision about a specific suggestion that you’ve accepted or rejected.

Criteria in the Queue won't stay there forever!

After 24 hours of accepting or rejecting them, criteria is submitted and removed from the Queue.

Products Ads Sync (only for Amazon Ads)

Recommendation: Watch the video in full-screen mode.

The Products Ads Sync feature is exclusively for Amazon Ads. It is designed to keep your Auto and Manual campaigns in perfect sync!

Start by mapping out your ad group destinations according to your Amazon strategy. Specify which Auto ad group should sync with each Manual ad group. Then, Adspert takes the wheel, automatically syncing your Auto and Manual campaigns. That’s how our advanced AI automates yet another task that you would otherwise have to do manually.

Max Bid: Your New Safety Net

  • Set the highest bid you are willing to pay.

  • Reduce the risk of overspending in a snap.

  • Applies to all campaigns in your Performance Groups & gives you more control.

You can quickly and easily set the Max Bid for each of your Performance Groups on the Goals page.
