Campaigns are usually managed together towards one goal within one Performance Group. In some cases, it is necessary to manage a single campaign and set a specific goal just for that one campaign. To individually manage a single campaign, create a separate Performance Group and set the specific goal you would like to reach for that one campaign.

There are three possible initial situations. Check the list and see which one applies to the campaign you would like to manage individually. Scroll down and find instructions related to each initial situation:

  • Initial situation 1: Campaign is in an existing Performance Group. You want to set an individual goal for your campaign.

  • Initial situation 2: Campaign is currently not being optimized and is therefore not in an existing Performance Group. You want to set an individual goal for your campaign.

  • Initial situation 3: Create a new Performance Group. Choose the campaign that you would like to individually manage from the list or all active campaigns.

2. A new window opens up with an overview of all campaigns within the chosen Performance Group.

3. Select the campaign that you want to manage individually and set a specific goal. Then click "Move Campaigns".

4. Click "Create new Performance Group" to create a new Performance Group and individually manage the chosen campaign.

5. Name your new Performance Group and click "Next".

6. Scenario pages opens with an indication of different goal settings and their expected outcomes for the campaign. The recommended goal is highlighted with yellow. Choose a goal and click “Set as Performance Group” goal. To find out more about goals and their settings, read this article (link).
