How to stop optimizing campaigns?

You can stop the optimization for either selected campaigns or for an entire performance group.

The article will show both possibilities:

  1. Stop single campaigns to be optimize

  1. Click “Control” on the main navigation bar. A drop-down opens up. Choose “Goals” to open up the Goals page.

2. Find the Performance Group from which you would like to remove campaigns. Click on the “Campaigns” tag underneath the chosen Performance Group.

3. From the left, select the campaigns that you want to remove from the optimization. Click "Remove Campaigns".

4. Review your goal for the edited Performance Group.

5. After reviewing your goals click "Confirm". Selected campaigns are removed from the Performance Group and are no longer being optimized.

2) Stop optimisation of all campaigns that are in a performance group please follow the next steps.

  1. Click “Control” on the main navigation bar. A drop-down opens up. Choose “Goals” to open up the Goals page.

There are more actions you can take for every Perfo

More Actions:

  • Set Default for an account - set the Performance Group to 'catch' any newly created campaigns of your advertising accounts.

  • Edit - edit your Performance Group start to end.

  • Pause Optimization - pause the optimization of the Performance Group.

  • Delete Performance Group - if you ever decide to delete a Performance Group, remember to move the campaigns to other Performance Groups first. Otherwise, they will be automatically placed among the non-optimized campaigns.

Click on “Pause Optimization”

All campaigns within this performance group will be paused and no longer be optimized
