In order for Adspert to conduct its services without interruptions, an active access to the advertising accounts is required. This access is sometimes revoked. Here is a list of common reasons..
User-Related Reasons
User Revoked Access
This is the most obvious of the reasons - Adspert is granted access by an individual user, who can, at any time choose to revoke it.
Access can be granted again by the same user or a different one with sufficient advertising account management permissions.
Insufficient User Permissions
If the user who has initially granted Adspert access to the advertising account loses the necessary permissions, that directly impacts Adspert's access to the advertising account.
The same user can grant access again once their permissions have been adjusted, or a different user with sufficient permissions can go ahead and grant the access for them.
Platform-Related Reasons
eBay: User Changed Password
Whenever the user that initially granted Adspert access to the eBay advertising account changes their password, Adspert will automatically loose access to the account.
As a recommendation, if you ever need to change your eBay password, follow the steps in this article to proactively prevent Adspert from losing access.
Google Ads: Google Limits Exceeded
Google Ads has limits when it comes to authorizing tools accessing the account. Whenever the limit is exceeded, access can be lost for one of the pre-existing tools. In case that is Adspert, we recommend you review the existing connections and remove any you are not actively using for Adspert to be able to leverage that spot, then reinstate access to your advertising account to continue with the optimization.
If this is a recurring issue, Adspert can offer a workaround - connecting the account via Adspert’s MCC. This is a managed service, so if you are interested in using MCC for Adspert to access your advertising account(s), get in touch with Adspert Support.
