This release brings something many of you have asked for:
You can now manage campaigns directly in Adspert without switching to Amazon Ads or Walmart Connect.
Here’s what you can do:
Activate/Pause/Archive campaigns, ad groups & criteria
Rename campaigns & ad groups
Add new ad groups to existing Sponsored Products Auto campaigns
It’s all about less time lost to repetitive platform-switching and staying organized as your product portfolio grows.
And if you're on an Enterprise, Scale, or Pro plan, there's more: you can now also set a Campaign Min Bid for even greater precision.
Let’s dive into what’s new. 👇
Table of contents:
1. Edit Status for Campaigns, Ad Groups & Criteria
You asked and we delivered: you can now pause, activate or archive campaigns, ad groups, and criteria directly in Adspert for Amazon Ads and Walmart Connect.
You’re already using Key Figures to evaluate performance. Now you can apply changes right there, without switching to your advertising platform.
The best part?
You can do this for ALL campaign types:
Amazon Ads: Sponsored Products, Sponsored Display, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Brand Video
Walmart Connect: Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, Sponsored Video
Direct editing now helps you to respond faster. Whether that’s pausing underperforming ad groups, reactivating paused ones or tidying up your campaign structure.
How to edit status (campaign, ad group, criteria):
Switch between Active and Paused
Key Figures > Select Campaign, Ad Group, or Criteria tab > Status column > Use the toggle
Bulk actions
Click checkboxes to select multiple rows > “Status” dropdown appears above the table > Open dropdown > Select the change you’d like to bulk apply to your selection (Active, Archive or Paused)
Archive (delete from platform)
Key Figures > Select Campaigns, Ad Groups, or Criteria tab > Action column - click three dots icon > select “Edit campaign status” > open Status dropdown (above the table) > Select Archive
Important: "Archive" will permanently remove selected campaign, ad group or criteria from the advertising platform.
You cannot undo this action, so use it with care.
2. Rename Campaigns & Ad Groups
You can rename any Amazon Ads or Walmart Connect campaign or ad group directly in Adspert without switching platforms. Rename feature also works for all campaign types.
How to rename:
Key Figures > Action > Click three dots icon > Select “Rename”
Now you can rename messy campaigns or align naming conventions on the fly. Use it to stay organized without interrupting your workflow.
3. Changes Pending Until Synced
Changes like pausing, activating, archiving, or renaming don’t take effect instantly. Adspert first submits them to Amazon Ads or Walmart Connect.
Then it usually takes about 1 hour to sync the changes. Here’s what’s new:
⏳ Hourglass means a change is pending
After making a change, you’ll see an hourglass icon in Key Figures > Status column. This means a change is pending.
Once the change is synced with an advertising platform, the hourglass disappears.
Want to see exactly what’s about to change?
Hover over the hourglass ⏳ and a tooltip with full details will open.
Want to cancel your pending change?
Hover over the hourglass ⏳ and select ‘Revert’ before the change is processed.
4. Add New Ad Groups to Sponsored Products Auto Campaigns
You can now create new ad groups directly within existing Sponsored Products Auto campaigns for Amazon Ads and Walmart Connect, all inside Adspert. Again, you can say goodbye to platform hopping.
Use this feature to:
Add seasonal products to existing campaigns
Test new targeting approaches
Organize or expand your product catalog structure
How it works:
Go to Key Figures > scroll down under the chart
Open the Campaigns tab or Ad Group tab
Click “Create Ad Group”
Select the account and campaign
Name the ad group
Select products
Click “Generate Bids” > Next
Click “Create Ad Group(s)” to confirm and submit
What to expect after submitting?
New ad groups aren’t created instantly - but within the next 24h:
You’ll see an hourglass icon ⏳ next to the campaign where the ad group is being added.
Hover over the icon and select “Go to queue”.
This takes you to the Queue tab under Campaign Creation, where you can track pending ad groups.
This is just the beginning. We’re working on potentially adding this capability to other campaign types too.
5. Introducing Campaign Min Bid – Only for Enterprise, Scale & Pro Plans
In October, we introduced the Min Bid on the Performance Group level to give you more precision in how Adspert adjusts bids. Now, we are extending it to the lower, Campaign level!
Just like Performance Group Min Bid, Campaign Min Bid is:
Optional and off by default: Most advertisers don’t need it, but when you do, it’s there.
Only available for Enterprise, Scale and Pro plans
How is Campaign Min Bid different from Performance Group Min Bid?
Campaign Min Bid is superior to Performance Group Min Bid and always overrides it.
This adds an extra layer of control and precision in how Adspert adjusts bids.
Example:
If a campaign has a set campaign Min Bid, it doesn't matter which Performance Group it is in. Adspert always follows the campaign Min Bid, ignoring any Min Bid set at the Performance Group level.
This applies even if you move the campaign to a different Performance Group; the campaign Min Bid still holds.
Where can I set Min Bid for my campaigns?
Log in to Adspert > Go to Control > Optimization Settings > select the Campaigns tab
Choose the campaign(s) for which you want to set the Min Bid
Navigate to the Min Bid column > enter the desired Min Bid in the box
Conclusion
We’re excited for you to try out the new direct editing features. They’re designed to save you the time you used to spend jumping between Adspert and Amazon Ads or Walmart Connect.
