The Adspert Log provides a comprehensive overview of all actions and movements performed either by the system or by the user in the account. This feature is ideal for tracking changes transparently, analyzing adjustments, and making informed decisions based on detailed data histories.

It ensures that all activities in your account are fully transparent and traceable. It makes both automated actions by Adspert and manual changes by users visible. This transparency makes the Log an essential tool for gaining a great overview of your campaigns, reviewing optimization processes, understanding account development, and efficiently troubleshooting or tracking changes.

To get to the log just click on the tab “Reports” and choose the option “Log” from the drop down menu.

Overview of log types

You can view three distinct types of logs, organized into three tabs: Optimization Logs, Criterion Hub Logs, and Other Logs, each providing insights into specific areas of the account activity.

Let´s go through them one by one:

1. Optimization Logs

The Optimization Log contains all activities related to automated optimizations by Adspert, including:

  • Any changes in the goals setting

  • Biddings done by Adspert

  • Bid adjustments for individual criteria

  • Modifications of any optimization settings

Each entry includes the following information:

  • Date and time

  • User or system (Adspert)
Related performance group, account, campaign name and further Action and Details which you can filter

You can filter these entries based on specific needs, such as showing only goal changes within a selected period.

2. Criterion Hub Logs

The Criterion Hub Log tracks all changes at the criterion level (e.g. keywords, placements, or product ads). This includes:

  • Applied rules

  • Criterion suggestions (accepted/ rejected)

  • Product ad synchronizations / Changes to product ad settings

  • Campaign & ad group creation

All entries are presented in a structured table and include the date and time stamp of the action, as well as the specific sub-tab of the characteristic. You can filter all entries by tab, action, and detail.

3. Other Logs

Additional logs provide a detailed record of other key activities within your account, such as:

  • Campaign creation
When and by whom a campaign was created in Adspert

  • Budget suggestions
What budgets and by whom were suggested, approved, or rejected

  • Setting changes
Changes to bid strategies or campaign statuses
