When Does Adspert Create Manual Campaigns? (Amazon Ads Only)
Manual campaigns are used only in connection with Amazon Ads. If you do not run ads on Amazon, then you can skip reading this article.
If you are advertising on Amazon, then you will find out all you need to know about when doesAdspert create manual campaigns for you.
Let’s begin!
Adspert Creates Manual Campaigns When You Meet These Conditions:
1. The first and most obvious condition is that you are actually advertising with Amazon Ads and have at least one Sponsored Product Auto campaign
2. Next condition is set by Adspert: your selected “Rules Action” needs to be either “Add” or “Review” combined with the acceptance of the Criterions suggestion.
Why? Because if you choose the third available action “Ignore” then this means Adspert will not suggest any keywords to your advertising campaigns (and you could miss out on a lot of valuable conversions!).
You are not sure which Rules Action you have set for your advertising account? Here’s how you can quickly check it:
Log in to Adspert
Click “Criterion Hub” from the main navigation bar
Select “Rules” from the dropdown list.
Rules page opens and you can check which rules actions you have set for your accounts.
3. Active Auto Campaign: An existing active Auto campaign should be in place.
4. Optimized Auto Campaign: The Auto campaigns must be actively optimized in a Performance Group.
5. At least one criterion suggestion is ready to be added to: Adspert creates campaigns and ad groups on demand only, when there is at least one criterion to add. It also creates only what it needs.
For example, if the first criterion is a keyword, it will create the manual campaign and keyword ad group, but not the PAT ad group. The PAT ad group will be created in the already created campaign as soon as there is at least one ASIN to add to it.
6. Valid for “Review” Rules Action only: you should have accepted at least one criterion suggestion.
