Welcome to this short video about the Adspert Scenario Tool.

As always, we start on our Monitor Page, and from here, we go to the Scenario Tool. To do so, we go to the Report section and click on "Scenarios" from the dropdown menu.

So, what does the Scenario Tool actually do, and how can it help us optimize in the most efficient way? In general, Adspert uses machine learning to predict the behavior of your campaigns, ad groups, and keywords to optimize your campaigns and achieve the best performance possible. The Scenario Tool provides a glimpse into these predictions and enables you to make fully informed decisions on your chosen optimization goals.

Using the scenarios, you can discover how your campaign's performance metrics depend on each other and your ad spend. You can also see the expected performance of your current optimization goal and experiment with different goals and values to find out what performance you can expect in a live setting. And how do you do all of this? It's very easy.

Here, we can see our account, and we have the option to select the performance groups we want to analyze. At the moment, we have chosen "shirts" and "women." Adspert constantly creates and updates the forecast of the number of impressions, clicks, conversions, and conversion values expected for all the keywords, placements, and other criteria on which Adspert is bidding. But what does this mean in practice?

We have two values related to each other. We can see our goal, which is currently set as "CRR" or "ACoS" (for the Amazon account), and the context value, which is the cost. By clicking on the goal, we can choose our current goal or any other goal that we would like to model for our scenario.

When choosing the context value, we can select from the values in the dropdown menu. For example, if we want to know how our conversion outcome would look like with a specific ACoS, we click here, and the graph changes accordingly. This allows us to see our current goal, set at an ACoS of 10%, and expect around 47 conversions. We can model our scenario by clicking on the graph and see how our outcome would change if we increase our ACoS.

In general, we can say that once we have a steep slope, our change in outcome would be relatively high. For instance, if we increase our ACoS to around 12.5%, we would expect 132 conversions. However, when the slope is less steep, like when we have an ACoS of around 15%, the expected conversions increase to about 204, even though we increased the ACoS to 17%. This suggests that adjustments to the goals should be made when the graph has a steep slope.

We can model scenarios for any other goals listed in our dropdown menu. Scrolling down, we can see the KPIs in more detail in the table below. We can view our KPIs, current values with our goal of 10%, and how they would change accordingly. If we were to increase our ACoS to around 17%, we can see the impact on our revenue, conversions, and the percentage change. Scenarios are always created for current and active Performance Groups, taking into account data from active campaigns, ad groups, and bidable criteria. The scenarios are estimated based on historical data gathered from your advertising accounts.
