When checking your log and the history of your suggesting activities you may come across suggestions that are marked as “rejected during suggestion update review”, hence Adspert rejected the suggestion itself without any action involved from the user.
This article helps to understand what does this mean and in which cases Adspert automatically rejects the suggestions that have been made to an earlier point of time.
Why Are Some Suggestions Automatically Rejected?
In certain cases, you might see the following message in your Logs Page: “Suggestions rejected during suggestions update review”
This refers to a special case, where Adspert’s algorithm automatically reviews and rejects a suggestion — without any manual input from your side.
Common reasons for automatic rejection include:
Low or no conversions
No significant engagement (e.g. clicks)
This automated review process helps ensure that underperforming elements are filtered out before they can negatively impact your campaign efficiency.
What Does This Mean?
Adspert regularly evaluates the performance of suggested keywords or ASINs. If the system determines that a suggestion has not performed well over the last 30 days, it will be automatically rejected.
Where to Find These Rejections
You can find these entries in the Reports Page → Logs, under the tabs "Criterion Hub Logs" and "Suggestions".
To filter for rejected suggestions, go to “State & Details” → “Rejected”.
