What can I see and do on the Queue tab?

Whenever you accept or reject suggestions, they are automatically moved from the Suggestion tab to the Queue tab.

We have listened to our users who said they would like to have a place in Adspert that displays criteria after they've been accepted or rejected but before they appear in the Log. That's precisely what the Queue is for – it's where criteria wait to be submitted. We didn’t limit it to just a list; you can also take different actions on the Queue tab. Please remember: criteria in the Queue won't stay there forever! After 24 hours of accepting or rejecting them, criteria is submitted and removed from the Queue.

Let’s jump in!

The table in the Queue tab is a condensed version of the Suggestions table. In both tabs you find a collection of tables, each representing a source ad group. However, the main difference is that the Queue tab table doesn’t include metrics.

Let’s have a look at the actions:

  • From the Actions column, click the menu icon. One or two options appear, depending on the selected criteria.

    • One option is Edit Destinations which works the same as on the Suggestions tab.

    • Another option is to Undo your decision about a specific suggestion that you’ve accepted or rejected.

You can do this one by one. Click the menu icon from the Actions column and select “Undo/Return to Suggestion”.

Or you can save yourself some time and do it in bulk. Select the suggestions from the first column and then click “Undo Selected” button.

What does “Undo Selected” and “Undo/Return to Suggestion” options do?

Both options perform exactly the same action, the only difference is in their name.

When you undo your decision, the suggestion reverts back to its original state. This means that you will also lose any changes you made to destination and match types.

Once you undo your decision, the suggestion will return to its original state in the Suggestions tab.

If you ever get stuck, click the hand icon in the upper right corner to get on-screen explanations of all elements on the page.

How to Undo Accepted or Rejected Suggestions?

Sometimes, you need to undo accepted or rejected suggestions.

You should do this as soon as possible. After you accept or reject a suggestion, it is visible in the Queue tab on the Suggestions Review page. Queue is a transient page and suggestions will not be there for longer than 24 hours.

This article guides you through the steps to undo accepted or rejected suggestions from the Queue tab.

Step 1: Locate the Accepted/Rejected Suggestion

1.1. Hover over Criterion Hub in the main navigation bar and select “Suggestions Review” from the drop down menu. Select the Queue tab. Navigate to the Accepted or Rejected Queue page in your workflow.

Step 2: Undo the Suggestion

There’s a few different options here. I’ll list all possibilities.

Option 1: Undoing Multiple Suggestions

2.1. In the Accepted/Rejected Queue, you can checkmark one or more suggestions that you wish to undo.

2.2. Once you are satisfied with your selection, click the "Undo Selected" button located in the bottom right corner of the page. Your suggestion will be returned on the Suggestion page in its original state.

Option 2: Undoing a Single Suggestion

2.1. Alternatively, you can undo a single suggestion by following these steps:

2.2. Go to the "Actions" column for the specific suggestion you want to undo.

2.3. Click the three dots

2.4. From the dropdown menu that appears, select "Undo Suggestion."

Step 3: Confirm the Undo Action

3.1. After selecting the undo option, a confirmation dialog will appear. This dialog will inform you that the suggestion(s) will be returned to the "Suggestions" tab in their original state.

3.2. Be aware that this action will reverse any changes you've made to destinations, including match type changes.

3.3. To proceed, click “Ok” from the pop-up.
