What is the Product Ads Sync feature?

To open the Product Ads Sync feature, hover over Criterion Hub in the main navigation bar and select “Product Ads Sync” from the drop down menu.

The Products Ads Sync feature is exclusively for for Amazon Ads. It is designed to keep your Auto and Manual campaigns in perfect sync!

Start by mapping out your ad group destinations according to your Amazon strategy. Specify which Auto ad group should sync with each Manual ad group. Then, Adspert takes the wheel, automatically syncing your Auto and Manual campaigns. That’s how our advanced AI automates yet another task that you would otherwise have to do manually.

Let’s go through each element and action on the page.

The second column shows the Source Ad Groups. Sources can only be Sponsored Products Auto campaigns.

The third column shows the Destination Ad Groups. Destinations can only be Sponsored Products Manual campaigns.

There’s one more difference between the two. An individual source ad group can have more than one destination. And an individual destination ad group can be a destination for only one mapping!

You can see this from the table. For example, the “Cosmetics > Haircare > Volume” is a source ad group and it has 3 destinations.

From the Mode column you can see what Adspert does with the Sponsored Product Ad Groups between the source and the destination. There are 2 different modes: Add missing and Overwrite.

“Add missing” means that our advanced automation compares the Source and Destination Ad Groups. Then it adds anything that’s missing in the Destination Ad Group.

Overwrite” mode clones the Source Ad Group to the Destination Ad Group.

Usually, you can choose between both modes. Go to the Actions column, click the menu icon, select Edit and choose one or the other mode.

There is one exception when “Overwrite” is the only option. For any Destination that is created by Adspert, the mode is always set to “Overwrite” and you cannot change that.

If you ever get stuck, click the hand icon in the upper right corner to get on-screen explanations of all elements on the page.

How to Edit Product Ads Sync Mapping?

Amazon Ads Only

The Products Ads Sync feature is exclusive for Amazon Ads. It is designed to keep Auto and Manual campaigns in perfect sync.

This feature lets you specify which Auto ad group should sync with each Manual ad group. Then, Adspert takes the wheel, automatically syncing your Auto and Manual campaigns. That’s how our advanced AI automates yet another task that you would otherwise have to do manually.

In this article I will show you how to edit your Product Sync Ads mapping.

First, open the Product Ads Sync feature. Hover over Criterion Hub in the main navigation bar and select “Product Ads Sync” from the drop down menu.

Navigate to the “Action” column and click the “...” icon. Then select “Edit”.

  1. From the left side choose the ad group for which you want to change the synchronization mode. Click the checkbox to select it.

2. On the right side, click on the pen and paper icon to edit the mode.

3. Last but not least, click “Confirm” to confirm your setting.

Note: Keep in mind - Anything with the label “Created by Adspert” cannot be edited.

The "Overwrite" option is used for destinations created by Adspert, and it means that Adspert will make the destination a complete replica of the source product ads. In other words, it ensures that the destination will exactly mirror the product ads of the source product ads. This mode is the only one available for destinations created by Adspert, and it cannot be edited by users.
