Keyword Refinement is a feature that generates new keywords for your campaigns. It works by leveraging a campaign’s historical search terms generated using Broad and Phrase Match keywords and adding them as Exact Matches. This way, Adspert can bid on these keywords individually and won’t have to rely on bids for broader keywords.
In contrast to the auto-manual keyword sync, Keyword Refinement doesn’t add search terms that haven’t been targeted before. It only optimizes bids for search terms for which your ads have already been appearing.
