The “Create & Manage Groups” button under Performance Groups on the Goals & Promotions page allows you to create new Performance Groups while clicking the gear wheel on the main tab allows you to edit existing Performance Groups.
In both cases, a new window where you can select the individual campaigns you want to group into a performance group will open up. This window displays all active and paused campaigns that can be optimized. You can also search for specific campaigns.
After selecting the campaigns, you can either assign them to an existing performance group or create a new one by clicking on the “New Performance Group” button, after which you’ll need to define a goal for your new performance group.
Depending on whether you’re making changes to one or more Performance Groups, it might be necessary to review the set goals too. If so, Adspert will remind you via a notification and even mark the goals you need to review.
Existing Performance Groups will continue to show in even after you’ve disconnected their campaigns in case you decide to use them later. They can be deleted by clicking the trash can button by their names when you decide that they’re no longer necessary.
It’s also possible to drag and drop individual campaigns to either create a new Performance Group or add them to an existing one.
Campaigns are shown with their associated labels on both the Edit and Create screens, where you can also filter campaigns by the label.
