How does Adspert define 20% more performance?

Adspert tries to raise the number of conversions while keeping the costs as low as possible. Depending on your product and/or the predefined goals, it's possible that the number of conversions doesn’t raise in a noticeable way, but your costs drop by 20%. 

The other way around, it's possible that your costs increase slightly, while your conversions increase significantly. Usually, Adspert will need up to 3 to 4 weeks to test an AdWords account and get the knowledge to reach the performance boost of 20%.
